Hi, I’m Zoe Tollenaar.
I started ZOTO during my final year of uni in 2015, just after I got my first freelance design job. I could have just used my full name (as ZOTO was and still is a one-woman show) but I was aware my surname was quite a pain for people to spell and pronounce.
Over the years I’ve done a mix of freelance, contract and full time design roles, but am now fully freelance. I'm based in London for now but am still doing remote work for clients in NZ and the US. I’ve worked on diverse range of contracts, which has built up a good client base and also expanded my skillset. I still learn something new from every project, and probably will forever!
I'm regularly doing a mix of print and digital design for clients to use in various contexts. For example, a new business might require a brand kit that includes a logo suite, fonts, colour palette and a general brand direction, as well as a website, packaging, printed advertising, social media content, etc. I can handle all of that, but I'm also happy to work with other professionals if your needs are beyond my capabilities.
